Butte-Silver Bow Superfund Advisory and Redevelopment Trust Authority Event announces funding availability; seeks local proposals


Butte, Montana – October 12, 2020


The Superfund Advisory and Redevelopment Trust Authority seeks proposals for events or festivals set to occur in 2021.  The Authority will accept proposals through November 2,  2020.  The Authority anticipates announcing successful proposals in December 2020.


The Covid-19 pandemic has challenged Butte’s annual celebrations and festivals, but the Superfund Advisory & Redevelopment Trust Authority is optimistic gatherings can resume in 2021.  SARTA may grant up to $75,000 organizers hosting festivals or events occurring next year.


Interested applicants may download an application from the Butte-Silver Bow SARTA website or pick-up a hard copy from outside the Chief Executive’s office in the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse Rotunda. Applicants may submit applications electronically or by mail according to the submittal procedures included in the application materials.


Applicants are encouraged to attend a grant writing workshop scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2020, at Noon and 5:15 p.m.  The workshop will be held via WebEx and if an applicant is interested in learning more about the program or the application process, please contact Julia Crain to R.S.V.P. and receive the link to the webinar. 


The Superfund Advisory and Redevelopment Trust Authority is charged with planning for and distributing Redevelopment Trust Fund Dollars.
