(Butte) Loud booms sounded through the neighborhood early this morning on the 700 block of South Main Street, said a text from Sheriff Ed Lester. They were made by “distraction devices” deployed by law enforcement.
Warrants were served there by agents of the Southwest Montana Drug Task Force, the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation, and Homeland Security. Butte-Silver Bow officers assisted.
A man there was arrested on state and federal drug warrants, the text said.
No one was injured during the arrest, and there is no additional danger to the public.
