Join us for the Fifth Annual 10/24 Play Festival with Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre on the Mother Lode Theatre stage!
After drawing play suggestions out of a hat and writing for 12 hours, 10 directors will be handed those plays to cast, direct and produce in the next 12 hours. These 10 short new plays will have their world premiere just 24 hours after the playwright begins writing. Come see what creative genius looks like under pressure.
Sign-ups to participate are open to young artists and community members ages 7 and up in Butte and beyond until May 9, 2022!
Participants can sign up to be an Actor, Director, Writer, Technician, Volunteer, and more through a form located at www.orphangirl.org!
The initial meeting will take place with Orphan Girl Theatre as a large group on Friday, May 13, at 6:00 pm. Zoom is available for those out of town.
Just want to watch? The performance will be at 7:00 pm MST on May 14 on the Mother Lode Theatre stage. Tickets are $15, with artist discounted tickets available for current OGCT participants!
