On June 29, 2022 - the World Museum of Mining's Intern Curator, Christopher Hoskin-Rivera, presents "Copper: Through the Ages". Copper's relationship with humanity goes back thousands of years. It has been one of the most important and heavily used metals by human beings, and fundamentally influenced the development of civilizations across the world. This presentation will explore this relationship through time, how copper and the copper industry influenced Butte; and how Butte influenced the copper industry. Admission free. Donations appreciated.

The outdoor presentation will begin at 6:00 pm and run for about an hour at the Museum, 155 Museum Way. If the weather does not permit, the presentation will be held in St. Patrick's Mission on the Museum grounds.
