BUTTE, MONTANA – The Butte Pickleball Association is thrilled to announce the 1st Annual Copper Cup Pickleball Tournament, set to take place on August 30–31, 2025 at

Stodden Park. This two-day event marks the city’s largest outdoor pickleball tournament and promises an unforgettable weekend of competition, community, and fun in “Butte

America.”

The Copper Cup is open to adult players of all skill levels, from seasoned competitors to enthusiastic beginners. Divisions include Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles, with skill

ratings ranging from 3.0 to 4.0+. The tournament will feature a Fixed Team Round Robin format, followed by bracket play to determine division champions.

“We’re excited to bring this level of organized pickleball to Butte,” said event organizer Tim Whitlow. “The Copper Cup is more than a tournament—it’s a celebration of community,

health, and one of the fastest-growing sports in America.”

Participants can expect:

  • Minimum four games per team
  • Cash prizes, medals, and other awards.
  • A 50/50 raffle supporting the Butte Pickleball Association
  • Opportunities for sponsors to engage with a vibrant, active crowd.

Games will run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday,
