Five Arrested After Late-Night Brick-Throwing Rampage in Billings Heights

BILLINGS — A quiet night in Billings Heights was shattered early Wednesday morning when a group allegedly went on a destructive "brick-throwing rampage," damaging multiple vehicles across the neighborhood.
Billings Police have arrested five individuals in connection with the incident, which occurred around 1:45 am The group includes 21-year-old Donovan Elkboy and four juveniles, ages 11, 12, 13, and 16. All five face felony charges of criminal mischief.
Local residents reported hearing yelling and the sound of breaking glass. Security footage captured the suspicious throwing bricks at parked cars, resulting in shattered windshields, broken side mirrors, and significant body damage to several vehicles. One landlord noted that even a broken mirror on a modern pickup truck can cost upwards of $400 to replace.
While neighbors described the area as typically peaceful, many were left cleaning up glass and debris the following morning. Authorities are continuing to process the reports of damage as the suspects remain in custody or under juvenile supervision.
